Our stay at Stoneridge was just amazing. We were greeted with cheese platter and wine which was really nice as we were hungry. :) We stayed at the Arrow suite which has a lap pool right in front. Breakfast was among the best we’ve ever had. The staff paid attention to every detail. Eco friendly touches did not detract from comfort and convenience. Glenorchy was peaceful and quiet and a perfect antidote to ski days in Queenstown. One of my favorite spots was the covered outdoor fireplace savoring a hot chocolate or a whiskey on a freezing night. I live a long way from New Zealand, but hope to return at some point.

I don't need to say much about this amazing hotel. The location is incredibly convenient to downtown Queenstown. You can walk to all of the restaurants and nightlife. All of the staff are attentive and helpful. The room we stayed in had a top-notch bed and luxurious sheets. The floors in the bathroom are heated, as is the towel rack. There was a TV in the bathroom for the tub area. It isn't the cheapest hotel in town, but for the price it is worth it and then some.

Wow, what a lovely hotel! The location couldn’t be beat - we walked everywhere with the gorgeous lake in front, the gardens to the left, surrounded by shops and restaurants. The St. Mortiz was the perfect place for our honeymoon. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We stayed in a suite with a kitchenette, living room, semi private garden. The room was modern, clean and even came with bath robes for use during our visit. The location is a short walk to the lakefront restaurants and bars. Also, the breakfast buffet was delicious and was the perfect start to our day! We will definitely stay at the St. Mortiz again next time in NZ.
