Our stay started with having trouble getting into the property. Although we had a code, the door would not open. When we tried to get help via messaging and calling the response was limited with help. We eventually were able to shoulder the door and it opened. The property itself is in a good location, but the surrounding artwork is extremely disturbing making the stay there less than desirable. It gave us such a creepy feeling during the holiday season that we checked out early. When sharing this with the host, we only received an automated response and then a quick message not addressing at all our feeling about the place. If you are considering staying at this place, prepare yourself. There is only one bed that you must take a ladder to get to and a short couch. In the main living space, you have a large wooden statue facing you and above the couch on the wall is a strange swordfish sculpture that has some hay-like substance that sheds onto the couch. The kitchen area is not too bad except again the strange choice of art with a skeleton looking over the area. The bathroom is a tub with a shower curtain surrounding it (reminded me of a horror movie scene) with again very unique artwork choice definitely not for anyone with a family. Pets are welcome, yet my dog seemed very nervous in this space. I hope this review will help others in making a decision about staying at this place. The only review before our stay rated this place exceptional which is far from accurate IMO.
