Wonderful room with kitchen, porch, and cozy fireplace. The layout and space of the room was perfect for our trip. The kitchen cabinets did need new paint and the bathroom door needed to be replaced. But everything was comfortable and the staff was helpful.

It's beautiful, the staff was amazing, our dinner was delicious, the pool was so enjoyable, and the adventure park on the grounds (separate cost) was a blast! Can't wait to go back.

This property was very nice. Located in a pine forest near Tahoe City, CA. Pricing was fair. The studio we rented for two nights was very clean and well furnished even though it was a little dated. Enjoyed all the amenities. We will be back.

Great place to stay! I found a room last minute and it was pretty inexpensive and had great amenities. The ropes course connected to it is also an amazing experience for anyone wanting a fun family friendly adventure!

We happened upon this place when we got rained out during a camping trip. We were pleasantly surprised by this place. It reminds me of an older ski lodge but it is an excellent place to stay. When we visit Tahoe, this is where we always stay now. We love this place! It is great relaxing by the pool. The restaurant here is excellent. Great service and great food. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Again, we will always choose The Grandlibakken when visiting Tahoe.

We had a nice room and the hot tub and pool were the stars of our visit. We had 2 problems re the management, 1 was they send info for automatic check in but as we'd booked through Hotels they're systems don't work - that's fine as I like a personal check in, but why send the automated info? Also, our coffee machine was broken and I asked for a replacement, 1 hour later it arrived as we were checking out - when I phoned about the problem there was no offer of a coffee from their reception - a place as expensive as this should have better care & service for their customers
