Highly recommend hiking around the plantations in Shizhuo, and trying as much tea as possible. We didn't make it up to the Alishan National Scenic Area, but the hiking around the B&B was amazing.

Pro- Hotel had best location on alishan. Great dinner and breakfast food options. Convenient and frequent free shuttle bus service. Cons- expensive hotel but did not provide bathroom slippers which i thought was a basic amenity.
