Great place in a nice location’s

The resort is simply amazing - the food, the staff, the service, the landscape - all work together to make the place special. The whole atmosphere was so tranquil and relaxing. This was a special stay. The Prestige rooms are also wonderful.

We had an ocean view room with a balcony. The view was spectacular and the balcony had enough privacy and room for both of us to sit and enjoy the air. The beds, while split, were extremely comfortable. The breakfast and dinner service is worth the money! The spread is absolutely fantastic and the chefs there to provide fresh food are spectacular. Wow just wow! We’ve recently returned from a ten day trip and loved every minute of it. From the beginning the hotel was very accommodating. They provided a proper cot, mattress, duvet and pillow for our one year old and even left a cuddly toy for him which was a lovely touch. I’d asked to be put in a quiet area by the pool which we were. On a cobbled street in the sleepy town of Garachico, Hotel San Roque offers a truly unique experience for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of resorts, and stay in boutique comfort. Pleasant surprise to be upgraded to a 2 bedroom. The condo was well designed with large terrace - perfect for the gorgeous view. Kitchen was well appointed with everything needed to cook meals and there was plenty of storage for clothing and personal belongings. Pros: Amazing adult area/pool, dining options, friendly staff, amenities Cons: Isolated, located on a very steep hill which leads you to rely on calling the concierge to arrange transportation (difficult to get anyone to answer the phone), recommend a rental car

Overall our experience was good, you need to be prepared to take a taxi or walk about 30 to 40 minutes to the center of the attractions., like cafe, restaurants, beach, etc.
