Lovely setting and a quick 20 minute taxi ride from the airport. Access to the beach and great walks both ways along the coast. Food is tasty and there is lots of variety. Some nice restaurants in the area as well so you don't need to just rely on hotel cuisine.
A perfect holiday at El Mirador. The hotel staff were amazing, in particular, Paula, Patricia and Rita who went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The General Manager also personally took the time to speak to us and ensure that we services met with our expectations. The facilities were wonderful and allowed for some much needed down time. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
I've been several times to this hotel. It is quiet, the breakfast is excellent, the pool is outstanding and staff are very helpful. The bathrooms may need updating but, overall, I'd stay there again and again.
Our time at El Mirador was fantastic! Friendly and accommodating staff, beautiful and luxurious grounds, overall a quiet and enjoyable getaway!
The beach is easily and quickly accessible from the hotel and it’s a sandy beach, not rocky so it was quite enjoyable to walk barefoot in the water.
hotel outdoors and employees were great, absolutely top service and friendliness, breakfast excellent, restaurants were at most mediocre , we tried all three available , food quality needs to be improved, menu choices too, all dishes are overloaded with ingredients to look fancy but one cannot taste the food anymore as it is a big mix of everything covering up the taste of the main food. The very friendly waiters and the excellent wines made up for the disappointing foods
Superb! I got the restful, recuperative holiday I so desperately needed. The “adults only” policy ensured peace and quiet and it’s one of the major reasons I chose this hotel. Stunning interior design, pool, gardens and Spa. Highly recommend!!
I have never been treated so well by a hotel and their staff. The people were so genuinely kind. Every detail was taken care of. The view was absolutely amazing, food was delicious, the drinks were flowing if wanted. I want to come back to the island just to experience the hotel again, let alone one of the most beautiful islands I have seen.
The accommodation is perfect the staff are all friendly and attentive. Food excellent Would highly recommend . The balcony’s could be slightly bigger. Having said that views are stunning .!
We was very looked after by our housemaid
“Marleny” she is very very good at her job,
Lovely lady. The room was always cleaned to an exceptional standard.
All superb, but they need to recognise VIP members
This is a really amazing five-star in a stunning location, right by a beach but completely private. Loved lounging on the lawn looking over the sea. My only one issue is that they claim to be a Hotels.com VIP property, but they did not recognise my VIP status at first. Claudia, the guest relations manager handled it very well (thanks again) and resolved the issue with the complimentary upgrade I was entitled to, given there was room availability one category up. She did not seem to be aware that they are listed as a VIP property on Hotels.com. until she saw my booking. I have had this issue before and I think Hotels.com need to be clearer about what their (Expedia) VIP status means with their listed hotels, or else it's not worth having it. It's not pleasant to start a holiday having to discuss your booking, show regulations etc. Other than that really amazing: food, staff (all not just polite but genuinely friendly), comfortable beds and sunbeds (and no shortages ever), great view, bar etc. etc.
Had a lovely staff the hotel staff were fab and the breakfast was to die for. Unfortunately I had an interaction with someone at the check in desks who was super rude to me when I explained I needed a late check out and hadn’t got a reply from the front desk. I also found what looked like blood on my bed sheets tucked into the corner. I found it when pulling the sheets out. Not really acceptable for a 5 star hotel. No offer of anything to apologise.
Amazing hotel, clean, beautiful outside and inside building, outstanding service, breakfast delicious to die for, hundred options for all tastes, no screaming kids around. High class restaurants. The only thing if you are planning to rent a car, their parking is very limited but free. Not too close to Las Americas downtown if you are interested in nightlife. But you can take taxi. It is 6-7 km. I would definitely return again.
A truly 5-star hotel with superb attention to detail. What made it stands out from all other luxury hotels we stayed in the past is the service, reception, pool side, restaurant, snack bar, spa, maid, everyone is so friendly and helpful. We had a junior suite with decent size balcony, wonderful view over the ocean and beach. Very clean and spacious bathroom. Highly recommend half board as the dinner quality is really good (buffet starter and dessert, main course is made to order to choose from 6 options, different every night). Also, as we had an evening flight, we booked spa after check-out, the reception staff offered us a courtesy room to use afterwards for 45 min to refresh, before we headed to restaurant for late lunch. Very thoughtful.
We are back here for the 3rd time. We celebrate our civil wedding anniversary here, but we can't celebrate in the restaurants because some of our friends have kids, so we end up having our dinner for 3 nights at the adjacent restaurant around El Mirador.
Arrived as usual with that aroma from the entrance and was accommodated in the reception area. We were sent to our room but after a couple of minutes we were told we were sent to the wrong room, luckily we didn't change our clothes yet and decided to sit on the sofa,
I understand this can't be our room because it's a bit bigger but this is not our fault. anyway we were sent to a different room on the 4th floor instead.
Dinner- on a particular night, I complained about the quality of food as the choices were not great and the buffet presentation was not appetising at all, the squid was rubery and salty etc which I expressed my dissatisfaction to one of the girls and informed the Chef and other manager around. The next evening everything changed, the way we know how buffett was served and presentation is much better with lots of small bites or pieces with a nice choices.
Lastly, We were given fruits, wine, and gifts for our anniversary. Thank you for your thoughtfulness.
Also, Please have a water or ice dispenser for people who like to get more water and ice.
When we check out, some charges are not into our room, so i scrutinise it and the reception in charge recalculated it. Take note of your bills each day.
I have to say that after holidaying in many countries, this is one of the best run hotels that I've stayed in....The staff go out of their way to make your stay feel extra special, always a smile, nothing to much trouble....Cleanliness was of a very high calibre....The whole experience was what we were looking for to celebrate my partners birthday..The actual hotel looks incredible and the location in Adeje is perfect.....
