「The Inn was so warm and comforting that it felt like home. It's beautifully decorated and you have access to the common areas where you can enjoy a game of pool, play piano, play a board game or find a nice book to read. The grounds are beautiful with flowers and plenty of seating. The owner Paul was very welcoming and included local snacks and sodas as well as waters in the room which I thought was a nice touch. The breakfast each morning was out of this world! Will definitely stay here again...

「We enjoy non-chain hotels. We are low-fuss people. The Hill Farm Inn is a beautiful property with comfortable public rooms and cozy private rooms. The receptionist was pleasant and friendly and helpful. We like that it is away from town and shops and busy roads. 」

「Beautiful location and lodge. Rooms were great. Showers were amazing!! Didn’t know restaurant was closed on Sundays. And therefore there were no other guests at the lodge. Had the whole place to ourselves. 」

「Everything at the Sugar Maple Inn was newly renovated and very clean. The staff was helpful, friendly and accomodating. The food and drink in the lounge were good but pricey. The lounge has a beutiful fireplace but they never lit it up despite staying there on a very cold weekend. 」

「From the moment you walk in you are greeted by a friendly staff who make it clear that you having a good time is their primary purpose. I just had to ask and a microwave was provided for our room. The rooms are bright and comfortable, and each closet comes with a walking stick for hiking on the fabulous trails in the area, a yoga mat and bath towels. Such a treat!」

「We quite liked this hotel as it was charming and well thought out in many ways. We especially loved the dinner we had the first night. Our room had a fireplace and we loved that feature because it was a bit chillier than we expected. The only thing we would have wished for was a mini fridge in the room, but that’s not a huge deal breaker for us to return someday. It Is a nice walkable area and an easy to navigate town. 「Used coffee cups in dining area...no breakfast...owner said that he would compensate for that but there was no one to check us out the next morning with no compensation...shame that an historic inn is falling through the cracks...I definitely would not stay there again...」
