「Our experience at Emrose was mixed. The cabin itself was very nice, clean and comfortable. Communication was acceptable, but not great. Shortly before we arrived, I received a message that my cabin was ready, and the key was waiting for us in the door (weird!). There was no one to check us in and greet us when we arrived. 「The property is perfectly situated on a large pond and has the Appalachian trail running through the property. The property has many different things to do and is well maintained. Breakfast was great and a perfect way to start the day. However, the best part of the property are the folks running it, Victoria and Mike! My wife and I felt like we stayed with friends, that made the stay extra special.」

「The entire facility needs to be redone. Dirty carpets, wooden blinds that had broken sections. This is a ski resort and I can’t imagine anyone paying skiing prices to stay here. They said there was complimentary coffee on the floor above ours. It was at the end of a dark hall, was stone cold and looked to be about three or four days old. Just a disgusting place. 「We had an excellent stay here. It was a wedding venue as well while we were there and everything was amazing. The rooms were very big with extra pillows, towels and blankets. The soap dispenser was a little squirty and kept spraying but that’s the only negative thing I can say. This occurred in both the room and third floor of the lodge during the reception. Would have loved a bagel and cream cheese as part of the breakfast BUT I would give this place 9.5/10.」
