We felt free to come and go, and enjoyed enthusiastic recommendations from Mike, including an exciting "scrabble" up Thundering Brook trail and a glorious swim spot at Kent Pond. Although watch your head in the bathroom. Even with the sign posted on the wall my girlfriend and I both managed to bump our heads on the low ceiling using the restroom.

「Beautiful area, outside of facility looks dated, but that’s not realistic to change. Inside has had a nice update. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had an inconsiderate and noisy person upstairs over us, just a matter of who is there. We would surely stay here again.」
「A very old historic hotel. Has the oldest elevator in VT. Charming. Nice gardens. Guest can not use elevator and all rooms are upstairs. so if you have any mobility issues its a problem. 」
「Snowed Inn is beautiful! From the moment we arrived, everyone has been so warm and welcoming! We were given a tour of the property and shown to our room. It is so beautiful! The hot tub was a fantastic way to spend the evening! The breakfast options were delicious and having our table reserved for breakfast was such a great touch! Ken even offered to write down things we should see during our trip! We are looking forward to returning to Vermont and will definitely stay at Snowed Inn!」
「Very deceiving when pulling up. Wasn’t sure I was at the right place. Once we looked around, very nice. Room was awesome with working fireplace , large comfortable room. Nice barn door on large bathroom. Great place. Wish it had a restaurant with full breakfast and dinner. 」

「The Summit Lodge is a gem! Lots of things to do......pool, got tub, billiards, darts, and lawn games. The building is quaint and has a "homey" feel. The owners were super pleasant and friendly. We were there for DH bike racing at Killington and this place was nice and close! We highly recommend this place.」
