「19世紀に建ったホテルでポワロに出てくる手動のエレベーターがまだ使われていた。古き良き時代の英国を感じさせる。崖の上に立っていてどこからも海の眺めが素晴らしい。近くも森があり、ブルーベルとスノウドロップが満開だった。」

The real superstars were the staff - so hospitable, polite and accommodating! Definitely a hotel that I would recommend and I will definitely be back!」

「The cobblestone parking was slightly challenging, and we weren’t expecting to be in a separate building from the inn, but the room was very comfortable and the large window had a great view which brightened up the space. The location was perfect, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. We appreciated that breakfast was included.」

The room was very clean and tastefully decorated, and the beds very comfortable. We were allocated a room that was an upgrade from what we had booked, and even with it being a Ground Floor room it still had its own seating area (two in fact!). Had both breakfast and dinner in the restaurant during our stay and the food was great for both. Staff were friendly and...

「This is a really lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Fowey with a beautiful terrace overlooking the river and Town Quay. We spent hours on this terrace whiling away the heat enjoying a drink. The rooms are very nice and well appointed. We had a deluxe room which had a small terrace with river views. With only 14 rooms it feels very special and up market, but is reasonably priced. The best thing about this hotel, however, is the staff who are all brilliant. Being a small hotel they all chip...

「I don't think I've ever been made to feel so unwelcome at a hotel or B'n'B. We were using public transport. We were dropped off by taxi at 10am. Obviously we weren't expecting to check in but I've never stayed anywhere where luggage storage isn't available. The owner's immediate reaction was to tell us we check in isn't until 2. She did allow us to leave the luggage but I was taken aback at the unwelcoming attitude. We came back at 2. Owner complained that she had no details about the booking....

「The beach was beautiful. The décor has a slightly shabby chic style, although some areas could do with updating. We only stayed for one night, but we would definitely come back again. The location is excellent.」
