"Everything was fantastic. Swim up room was incredible. Agree with other reviews about the hotel restaurant being pricey compared to restaurants less than a 5 min walk down the beach (with better quality food!). Would definitely stay here again if we returned to Thailand. "

The don't usually write bad reviews unless I have to but the hotel was sub standard and I found the staff rude and unfriendly. I wish I had researched the hotel more before booking as I can now see the many have had a similar experience. It's not hard to be nice, friendly and provide a good service but they failed. The photos also do not live up to the experience when you get to the hotel. Koh lak is a nice place but...
