"We enjoyed our stay at the Toyoko Inn. The staff were very pleasant. Very clean throughout. There are good laundry facilities, however, we were visiting family so it wasn't needed. The Ome line was nearby so it made travelling easy. It is conveniently located near shops, shopping centre and well known fast food outlets. My only suggestion would be that perhaps cereal could be offered on the breakfast menu. The food was lovely but not something we were able to eat as a breakfast. I appreciate this is just a difference in cultures and we did buy cereal & milk which we kept in our room. If you're lucky enough to get room 1402 you will have the most breath taking view of Mt Fuji! I would highly recommend this hotel and will use again on future trips. "

"I loved how clean and convenient the hotel was. The area is lovely, and fromt he hotel, you can get anywhere easily. The stuff was very helpful and friendly, with one exception: I specifically asked upon my arrival when I should sent my luggage to the airport to get it there in time for my flight. My flight was Friday afternoon, so I asked if Thursday afternoon would be fine. I was emphatically told that I should send it Thursday morning. Wednesday evening I go to arrange my luggage delivery: I am told it is too late and that I should have sent it 48 hours before the departure time (this was 6:30 PM on Wednesday, my departure was 5:35 PM on Friday). It was explained away as miscommunication, because we were speaking Japanese (I teach college level Japanese, so I can at the very least understand dates and time). I would recommend the hotel display clear information on their "takyuubin" service: non-Japanese guests might need to know that Yamato only picks up airport deliveries 48 h prior to desired pick-up time.
