"Room is dated, stained carpets, dusty, wouldn’t win Channel 4’s “Four in a Bed”. Bed was comfy. Could hear road noise still and dog woofing in a nearby room. Dinner was nice, but chef needs to speak to his staff better and not in hearing distance of customers. Reception/bar staff were friendly and welcoming."

"The staff, brilliant. The two reception woman we met and the breakfast woman were absolutely wonderful. The double room had virtually no standing room but a huge very comfortable bed and nice big ensuite shower. We had done over 25k steps that day so just opening the door and collapsing on the bed was fine. But not for everyone if you're staying more than a night. Little room for luggage, you would struggle. Bar area was modern and open however the area around the property, despite the fact it is near the marina, was grotty. Plymouth centre is not particularly pleasant anyway but perhaps once developed, the area around will look less of a mess."

"Great hotel for an overnight stay when visiting Bath. Approx 15 minutes walk to the centre of Bath with parking (payable at the hotel). Clean and well appointed rooms with comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast included in the cost of the stay. "

"Very pleasant stay. We arrived very late in the evening but our key was available form the bar. Very easy. Good sized room - quiet and not overlooked. Didn't have time to go to the gym or pool but looked good. Excellent breakfast with enough choice to suit most tastes. Minor issue that the carpark isaway from the main building so suggest drive to front door to deposit cases etc and then go and park car in car park (lots of space). Grounds seemed well maintained too."

"Great selection of breakfast and friendly staff. Only issue was that my rooms air conditioning blown warm air out when set to cold and the paint on the walls needs addressing as it is all chipped. Staff did provide a fan, as the room was 25 degrees at one point."
