"We only stayed one night the downstairs was awful. Smelly settee old kettle and toaster, dirty mat by door. Cooker hob had cracks in every corner. The upstairs, bedroom was fine and bathroom, the outside needed a lot of updating. What a waste of money, we booked through Sykes cottages they obviously do not have regular checks on property at least they certainly did not with this one !!!"

As soon as you walk in you can see that the photos really didn't do the place justice, we were very impressed. "A very welcoming greeting upon arrival. The room was lovely and clean with plenty of storage space. The breakfast was very good and certainly set you up for the day. I didn’t eat in the pub for an evening meal, but it was a very quaint country pub, full of atmosphere. The menu choices looked very good, and if the breakfast was anything to go by I’m sure the meals would be very good too. Highly recommend the old inn."
