"Stayed for 5 nights twin room. It’s just 2-3 minutes walk from train station. The hotel entrance is just next to Lawson. Reception is on 5th floor. Check in and out by self service machine so it’s superb convenient. Room is quite big by Japan standard. There’s a chair and small table near the window. Another smaller chair Bathroom is big enough for 2 to step in and brush teeth together! PJ/loungewear is provided as well."

"Our stay at Toyoko Inn was beyond amazing. The staff was just outstanding, polite, and very helpful. The breakfast is delicious and so convenient. If you are alone or as a couple then definitely worth it to stay here if you are trying not to spend a lot of money on hotel accommodations. It is perfect for people who plan to spend the days out and about and come back to sleep. It is also very close to the main train station. Thank you to all the amazing staff! "

"Such a lovely Ryokan, the staff were all so kind and nice. Super friendly! Explained everything so well and offered pick up from a nearby train station and drop off at local monkey park. The baths were all so different and the vibes were really good. Would definitely go again! I'd recommend everyone to go if you want to stay in the area."

"Close to the bullet train station so our trip in and out to see friends was so convenient. Getting to the hotel from the station was just steps away so we could put our things away and cleaned up before we met friends. Again on the way out the convenience to the bullet train was amazing. "

It really is a traditional Japanese hotel and experience and loved the friendly and helpful staff, and the location is just a short 10 min scenic stroll across the river to the bus/train station. Didnt know what to expect but the Japanese style tatami rooms were cosy and comfy, and the outdoor onsen was just what was needed after a day on the ski slopes. "This property was as traditional as it gets. Two Onsens to bath in. Each have separate times for men and women. Provide multicourse dinner that was as traditional as you can get. The breakfast was multiple items and also a classic meal. Very good. Room didn’t have a view but it had traditional tea set up along with kimonos to wear and traditional bedding.
