"Estuvimos muy agusto en la casona, rentamos la casita que tienen para 6 personas, tienen todo lo necesario para estar ahí muy agusto. El anuncio decía que el check in era entren3 y 8:30, cosa que si fue cierta pero tenías que avisar antes sparanque hubiera alguien, este fue el único detalle. De ahí en fuera todos muy amables y la casa muy linda"

Only slight downside is that walls are thin enough and area quiet enough to hear the people above/next door fairly easy at night. Just add your own white noise or earplugs and you’re set."

"We had a very enjoyable week at this small hotel. Continental breakfast was excellent. The staff couldn't do enough for you, from the reception to the cleaner. It is a five minute walk to the wonderful Sardinero Beach, and buses run frequently to the city centre."

"Clean and comfortable hotel for a one night's stay. It's a very small hotel without reception past 9pm. Everything was great with the room and I really appreciated the water and snacks available without charge. The only thing I found strange was that they were reluctant to let me in at any point before 3pm, I was waiting in the lobby at 230 and it seemed that only once the clock struck 3 would I be allowed in. I had an activity that afternoon and wasn't able to get in for the first time till 8....

"A very warm welcome at the ArtHotel when we arrived from the ferry - we’d requested a parking garage space for our bike and reception could not have been more helpful with advice about the locality and a town map. Our room was modern and very comfortable, and breakfast was excellent in terms of choice and also freshness & hygiene. We will definitely stay again. We loved the quirky modern art styling throughout the hotel and were delighted to meet Manolo, the hotel cat."

"Stayed here for 1 night after arriving on ferry at Santander it’s about 20 mins drive away from Santander but worth the drive. The hotel is situated in a nice quiet area near to the sea and amenities. We had 2 dogs the hotel was very accommodating and the rooms were perfect for us spacious clean with ample toiletries. Attached to the hotel is a restaurant which is very good and reasonably priced and all the staff seemed to be very polite and hospitable. Would recommend and stay again if we where...

"Located in a quaint village in Northern Spain, this hotel is simple, clean and close to old town. The staff was super friendly. Walk just down the road and enjoy great food in the oldest part of town. "

"I would have rated the property much higher save for two issues. The good part was that the property was well located for us near major routes. It was spacious and clean. The bad part was that we didn't have any heat for the first half of our stay when outside temperature was 2 degrees. The other problem was check-in which supposed to be from 4-8pm but there was no-one there. After an hour we had to have someone call as their message service wasn't working. 15 minutes later someone arrived...

"This is part of the bar on the high street. All the locals use it and there is much shouting and door slaming at the end of the evening. Then very quiet. Staff were very helpful despite my lack of Spanish. "
