"This was one of the best hotel experience of my life. I would rather stay here than any 5-star hotel. The staff was exceptional. They took time out of their day to teach me Japanese, they lent us 3 bikes to use for free, and they were funny, positive, and helpful. Did I mention they have very competitive pricing, ideal location for hiking and transit, and hot springs? If you are visiting Rishiri, stay here."

"Perhaps just renovated so it was new and very clean room. Stuff were kind good quality food and even offer a star watching tour at night that was awesome. It is surrounded by trees in the back so watch out for the small bugs if u care. "

"Always a fan of Dormy Inn. The Wakkanai location was easy to get to - just a few blocks from Wakkanai Starion - and had decent dining options within a block of the hotel (useful in the dead of winter when we went). The onsen features both and indoor and outdoor bath on the top floor."
