「The property was lovely with views over the countryside. Room was clean and quiet.The breakfast was good with plenty of variety. Was looked after very well by the host. The reason people stay there is to visit the magnificent Bamburgh Castle overlooking the North Sea. Altogether well worth a stay」

「This was the second time I have stayed here. Always a great Northumberland welcome. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and it is a very delightful property to visit. Definitely out of the ordinary. Breakfast is second to none using good quality ingredients - none of you rubbish cheap sausages and bacon - this is good stuff. Homemade preserves too and]] very tasteful bread. Highly recommended.」

「This is an excellent well-run hotel. Our room (and all the others, I guess) has been modernsed to a very high standard in recent years. Everything has been done well, with great attention to detail. The restaurant has a very good, reasonably priced menu. It is clearly very popular. Without exception, the staff were excellent. 「町の中心地からは少し距離があります。バスルームは専用でしたが、寝室とは別の部屋でしたので、入浴やトイレの度に鍵を持って部屋を出ていかなければならず、少し不便でした。また、シャワーのお湯が入浴の途中で止まってしまい、水で洗髪や体を洗う羽目になり、とても寒かったです。夏ではありましたが、海からの風で部屋がとても寒く、入浴後はもっと体が冷えてしまいました。朝ごはんは1階の食堂でフルブレックファーストを頂くことが出来ました。部屋からの景色は素晴らしかったです。」

「Lovely stay , very comfortable hotel. Excellent Customer service. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and very obliging. We ate in the restaurant both evenings and couldn’t fault our meals at all. Very good quality food. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. 」

「We loved staying here...Vanessa was lovely, the clever way she did breakfast so we could choose when we had it, the comfy room and bed...the great taxi service to Seahouses, the fact the we were left alone to enjoy our few days...all combined to make the 3 nights we stayed wonderful, and we will definitly be back!」
