Breakfast was good and staff were helpful. The room was very spacious with a great shower. Found the bed wasn’t the comfiest.

Nice hotel, a short walk from the town centre. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast choice. My only negative point is that the bathroom was tired with noisy plumbing but otherwise I enjoyed my stay.
We had a lovely stay at the Oaks. The staff were all very helpful, and the food was delicious in the bar in the evening, and the breakfast was also great!
The car park was always busy, but we were always able to find a space.
Second stay at the oaks. First time was in a family room with grandson which was great- this time in a double, which looked great on the surface but few minor issues - shower cubicle far too small, sockets not well positioned to use hairdryer/ tongs and pillows too thin and flimsy.
The staff were brilliant as per previous visit and full Northumbrian breakfast was faultless and up there with the best.
The location is ideal- only a 10 minute stroll to castle and town.
Parking was easy - we couldn’t check in till 2pm but were allowed to use car park on arrival at 10.30am.
Overall another pleasant stay.
Very comfortable bed we slept well and good shower. There was an unpleasant smell not sure what was causing it but everything else was good.
We ate in the bar due to the rain and staff were very friendly and food portions enormous.
Excellent little find. Lovely big room, great facilities. Had dinner in the restaurant and being gluten free there were no problems. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was perfect.
Ample parking nice spacious room pleasant staff.
Tasty and plentiful breakfast.
Stayed for one night but would have been happy to stay longer.
Highly recommended.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Freshly cooked large breakfast. Could have improved the choice of fruit and included cheese.
15 minute walk into Alnwick but free easy parking on site.
Second stay at the property. Very welcoming hotel and lovely breakfast included. It's within walking distance of Alnwick town centre. Rooms clean and nicely decorated. Ample parking onsite and overall an excellent place to stay! We will be returning again later in the year!

Easy to find, friendly and helpful staff. Room was a bit dated and looked like bathroom had been updated but still needed a good clean on paintwork, which also needed painting. Door to room was not tight fitting and light from landing was visible all night down one side.
Welcoming staff, Alnwick is lovely. Room large, clean with tea and biscuits- great. Standard pub food, leak and potato soup more mash potato, but gammon and chips nice. Good helpful service throughout
Bedroom was very clean and comfortable.
Three course lunch was very good value.
Staff were polite and helpful.
Breakfast was spoiled by loud music.
Plenty room for parking.
The location of the hotel, the standard room we were given were just right for us. We particularly liked the ceiling fan which provided much needed cooling. So much better eco friendly than air-conditioning. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming or friendly and the food was excellently cooked with plenty to choose from. Go hungry to do the food justice. Drinks and food prices offer good value. Nothing seemed too much trouble and we'd heartily recommend a stay there to anyone.
Parking was safe and secure. Room was very clean.
The breakfasts were delicious. I can't say enough about the staff, they were brilliant, really friendly and very helpful .
This is the best room i have stayed in within this kind of setting. I booked a single budget room. It was brilliant. Very large room with a small double bed in it , much better than a single bed. Lovely bedding. Lovely spacious bathroom with fabulous products.no need to bring your own. Great brands of tea, coffee and biscuits.
At breakfast i ask ed for mine to be cooked well done however it came back with pale bacon and sausage. All i ate was the egg. However their was lovely berries, greek yoghurt and toast with choice of jams etc. I would still recommend this place .
Great, friendly staff and easy to park and the room was a good size for a single. Only marked as 3/5 as room was above the kitchen extractor fans which were only turned off between 9.30 - 6.00. So if you book as a single remember the earplugs! Would happily return but maybe check booking to ensure it’s not that end of the hotel.
Gluten free options well catered for at breakfast but evening options are limited.
