「Stayed in different lodges in Brada Quarry, the lodges are amazing, spacious & all done to a high spec. Disappointed to find the log burning stove at Cowslip has been removed, for terrible electric fire」

「Lovely, friendly staff. We had 2 dogs with us and they were welcomed very nicely. The food in the restaurant was very average, although breakfast was excellent. We had a king sized room, which was in my opinion very small. The room was very hot, a fan or air conditioning would be something to consider? The bed was comfortable. Having 2 reasonably large dogs, negotiating the upper floor was relatively difficult.」

「Peter and Sheila were wonderful hosts. They gave us ideas of where to eat and places to see. Breakfast was very good and enjoyable with them providing information about the area. If we return to the Northumberland area we will definitely return there to stay again.」

「Indian food was fantastic chief and barman very pleasant and chief always asked if food was ok Rooms could be cleaner a socket would be good near kettle .breakfast was mediocre but hot and served quickly could do with more choices If known it was a haunted hotel we would never have booked due to my anxiety Rooms not serviced asked for more toilet roll but never got」

「A lovely light and airy room with a wonderful view. Comfortable bed and plenty of clean towels. Staff were most welcoming and very helpful. Wonderful selection of goodies for breakfast. Fresh fruit every morning alongside a cooked breakfast and timings for breakfast most accommodating.」
