「Just a lovely, old traditional family run hotel. Staff are fabulous and food is home cooked and delicious. Clean and comfortable. Perfect stay. 」

「Really good one night stopover en route from London to Edinburgh by car. Clean and comfortable room, which was thoughtfully equipped. Wouldn't hesitate to book again, nor to recommend to others. 」

Evening food very disappointing, steak small and chips covered in paprika they were barely edible! Liqueur coffee not possible as only synthetic squirty cream… not what I’d expect from a so called 5 star luxury hotel!!」
