「We stayed one Saturday night in early August. A nice welcoming hotel with ample parking. We had a premier room which was very comfortable, quiet, and had pleasant views over the gardens. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and reminded us that everything in the minibar was complimentary! 「This was an ex hotel/pub which provides entry via a code system which requires you to be able to messsge etc beforehand. When finally you do get in you're presented with a mothballed bar and then have to find your way from there. Breakfast, which I avoided, was a selection of biscuits and chocolate bars on a tiny tray. I won't be back. If you're okay with this sort of approach you might be okay with it, but it could never be called good. Look around, there's other, better places out...

「町の中心地からは少し距離があります。バスルームは専用でしたが、寝室とは別の部屋でしたので、入浴やトイレの度に鍵を持って部屋を出ていかなければならず、少し不便でした。また、シャワーのお湯が入浴の途中で止まってしまい、水で洗髪や体を洗う羽目になり、とても寒かったです。夏ではありましたが、海からの風で部屋がとても寒く、入浴後はもっと体が冷えてしまいました。朝ごはんは1階の食堂でフルブレックファーストを頂くことが出来ました。部屋からの景色は素晴らしかったです。」

「Really nice 3 star close to Lindisfarne. Perfect for judging the crossing times to the island and close enough by car to Berwick upon Tweed for a great choice of restaurants. Banburgh Castle is also close-by.」
