But during the heatwave of 2024, it lacked some decent air conditioning, However, you can't beat the truly amazing location, the view, the history, and the proximity to restaurants and bars as well as the ferry to Cinque Terre. "Ricardo and Michelle are the main reception staff and are super helpful, kind and supportive. One night we had difficulty getting a taxi ( for my husband’s birthday) and Michelle offered to drive us there. Which is above and beyond our expectations. The hotel is between Lerici main town and San Terenzo ( a lovely small town). We liked being able to reach both in about 15 minutes ( maximum) by walking. "With the beach opposite the hotel this was a fantastic overnight stop. It would have been worth pre-booking parking, though we were able to book the last space. There are traffic restrictions in place, but the hotel arrange the correct authorities are notified for you so that any penalties are avoided. A beautiful family room with direct access to the roof terrace."

"Hotel 5 Terre was a nice location for access to Monterosso and the train station to the other Cinque Terre villages. Parking and breakfast included makes it worthwhile! It’s an older property so don’t expect a lot of modern amenities, but it certainly serves its purpose. WiFi worked so that was a plus! Staff was helpful. "
