"My room had character and a great view of the Abbey. It did get warm and it was not obvious how to open the windows. The building is old and that is reflected in the rooms and the multi-flight access to anything. Back door to the ramparts was a bonus. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was filling with breads, crepes, fruits, eggs, cheese and meats. Stay was pleasant."

"It was an awesome experience staying on the island …. Only a few steps up from the entrance to Mont Saint Michelle. The room was large, bed was very comfortable, and a great shower. Note: Stay on the second floor. Rooms do not have air conditioning and our open window invited people to look in and engage with us from the walkway immediately in front of our room."

The staff are very friendly and welcoming thankfully speaking English (although also very patient with my terrible French!). The pool area was a great addition which my kids enjoyed. "I had a warm welcome and the gentleman at reception put my medication in a fridge for me. The lift was handy with bags, the corridors were very dark with light on timers. The double room was confortable big enough as I was by myself. I would have loved a complimentary bottle of water., because I’d walked from the station."
