「What an unexpected treasure Château de La Ballue. I had booked this stay while touring the Normandy beach landings for just one night. What a shame we were only there for such a brief time. The home is charming and beautiful. The room was perfection and the grounds were such a surprise. I had no idea they were world class manicured gardens complete with a labyrinth! 「Nice B&B outside of town. Owner very pleasant and provided a wonderful breakfast. Nice location 35 minutes from Mont St. Michel. Nice stop for the night then just an hour drive to Normandy D-day beaches, sights and Airborne museum the next day.」

"飛行機が遅れチェックインが大幅に遅れましたが、親切に対応してくれました。モン・サン・ミシェルへ一番近いホテルです。窓から見えます。"

"隣がスーパーでお水やビール等買えました。スーパーの中にパン屋とアイスクリーム屋さんもありました。お土産も買えて便利でした。朝食のベリーが入ったパンやクロワッサンが美味しかったです。ハムとチーズに茹で玉子、フルーツにヨーグルトもあり充分でした。フルーツのキウイやオレンジ、りんごがカットされず、そのままでしたので、ナイフで自分でカットして食べました。部屋は清潔でしたが、1階でしたので虫が入ってきて困りました。子育て期で海鳥の鳴き声が大きく、ちょっとうるさかったです。シャトルバスもホテルの前から乗れるので、何度もホテルとモン・サン・ミシェルを行きき出来、とても便利でした。"

"バスタブがあります。トイレも清潔です。部屋も綺麗です。朝食は必要充分です。スタッフは皆んなとてもフレンドリーでした。立地は、ボンマルシェはすぐ近く、主要な美術館は徒歩圏内で治安に不安はありません。周囲には、落書きなどは見当たりません。少し離れた地区を歩いていると、このホテルの周囲の様子との違いに驚きます。治安を含めてこのホテルはおすすめできます。"

"前日にモン・サン・ミシェルのゲートパスコードが送られてきます。エレベーターありません。部屋は日本のビジネスホテルのようにコンパクトです。ダブルに泊まりましたが2つスーツケースを開けるのは無理でした、浴室・トイレもかなり狭いです。湯沸かし、ドライヤーがあります。朝食は食べませんでしたが、19ユーロでビュッフェだそうです。スタッフのマットさんがとても親切で助かりました。ありがとうございました。お向かいの系列お土産屋さんにはパンと飲み物のお店があって、目の前からモン・サン・ミシェル行きの無料バスが出るので大変便利です。"

"モン・サン・ミシェルは本当に素敵です。日帰りではなくぜひ宿泊してみてください。17時以降10時までは人も少なくて。中世の世界の中を旅している気分になれます。あちこちにある階段を登って散策するのも楽しいです。島内マップの日本語は対岸にあるスーパーにおいてあります。"
