"overall, this was a great spot for 3 adults traveling! the area has tons of food options and convenience stores nearby. the hotel had only been open for 2 days when we stayed so the staff was still getting acquainted with the space and waiting on some supplies but overall the hotel was great! the room was the smallest we stayed in during our japan trip, but it was clean and comfortable. easy 15-20 minute walk to dotonbori area, very easy to navigate! 5-10 minute walk to trains to access JR...

"It was good. Check-in is a little weird. Staff was a little obnoxious, probably due to La Gaige barrier but could make it work. While most of the hostal was clean, Stairs were always dirty. Lots of Lint. And second night was a little hard to sleep on because neighbors were very noisy. Whenever they closed the door it would make a big bang and they spoke loud. It’s close to the local monorail station, but if you’re looking for the JR, it’s like a 10 minute walk. bought the room wi th the shared bathroom, but had some issues because I had tattoos. They were flexible enough to open the shared baths to tattooed guest during busy seasons, but you’re only allowed to shower between 11-3am which was a pain, but just something to be mindful of. "Overall the stay was great at Shinsaibashi Arty Inn, although they do not provide daily cleaning services, there will be daily change of towels and floor mat hung at the door of your room. "Great location to Universal Studios Japan. If you want an inexpensive option for the area this was great. Room was not overly clean they could do a much better job on that end. Limited personal hours at front desk. Do not show up early as no one there until 4pm to check you in. Only about a 10-12 minute walk to universal which is what makes it great"
