"This property is very cheap for the size and quality of the room. There was some questionable stains on the couch but besides that everything else was rather clean for the nature of the hotel"

"English speaking owner very focussed on guest comfort. Simple traditional guest house accommodation, tatami mats & futon bedding very clean and comfortable. Easy walk to train and bus, 20 minute walk to Nijo Castle. Good guest experience. "

"Guest house Bon, is a great place to stay, but if you are tall it is a bit cramped, it wasn't uncommon to hit you head on the roof, the place was very clean and Bon was very accommodating,he was the best part of the trip"

"This was a very comfortable and welcoming guest house for a very authentic Japanese experience. It had everything we needed and Kenji was very helpful and kind. The steps to the second floor are steep so it would be tricky for anyone who has difficulty walking. For anyone intimidated by sharing a bathroom or toilet- it was fine. We had no trouble using the facilities whenever we needed them even though the guest house was full. It was a lovely stay. "
