"The hotel was OK, but the pictures made the room look larger than it was. Also, there is an additional four euro charge for use of the A/C. We did have a lovely dinner at a Nevers, BOUCHON NIVERNAIS. So, for a stop on the way to Paris, it was OK."

The owner is very welcoming and will tell you everything you need to know about the products he serves for breakfast and about the region. 10 minutes away from Macon Downtown. 10 minutes away from the Maconnais grand cru. "Great price for a centrally located hotel. Basic but clean and large room. Would have like a tea or coffee making facility in the room, but it was available downstairs at breakfast. Overall i would recommend this hotel. The parking lot is a public parking lot just accross the road which was quite inexpensive and convenient. "

"Very disappointed to be given Floor 5 with 2 large dogs. Asked repeatedly for a lower floor the check in staff very unhelpful kept saying fully booked and couldn’t move my room. The annoying thing was not everyone had checked in and they could I am sure done a simple swap for me. Very frustrating to be met by poor service and little empathy "
