"The room was clean enough, but looked like a “landlord special”. Shower was clean but had a bunch of soap build up. The shower head wasn’t connected to the wall and there was wall paint on the shower. The reading lamp didn’t work that was connected to the bed. The remote was a universal one that most the buttons didn’t work for the tv. The location was nice though. It was set back from the road and pretty quiet. The staff was kind."

"The young gentleman that worked the front desk at check in 4pmish was friendly. Some of the other staff, not so much!! The entire property was VERY CLEAN and that matters a lot when traveling! Breakfast was mediocre but well run, and again clean. The pool was nice and the hammocks and dock area were a great plus. That being said anytime you requested something such as towels, a blanket, etc. It TOOK FOREVER to be delivered. We request a lid for our ice bucket three times the first day, four times the second day, and twice the third day. WE NEVER GOT ONE!!! Each time we told them how many times we had requested one, but they could have cared less. The ice machine was ALWAYS empty!!! There should have been a machine on every floor. They had signage hanging on the machine that said it takes an hour for ice machine to refill, please be kind to all guests and only take what you need. How about you provide the customer service that provides enough ice for the number of rooms you have on property. The entrance way was tacky and not very clean. There was no body lotion and body wash in our room. Shampoo and conditioner are great but the other two are used more than those products. I'm sure this was a majestic property in its day, but it desperately needs an upgrade in appearance. We attempted to call Expedia the first evening to switch properties when we didn't get a blanket and no ice but after being on the phone on hold for 45 minutes, we gave up and endured."

"Abandoned and hanging by a thread would be a great name, asked Expedia to please help me with giving me my money back to change hotels but said no. Nothing is as it says on listing. Bed was horrible hard and could see the springs throw the top. No light shades or plug covers. Everything had rust on it and the fake leather was peeling off everywhere. This is not a romantic get away like advertising said this is a ran down. Our tv remote wasn’t even for our room and was taped together. Just horrible horrible!!"

"Place was filthy. Had to wash dishes before we could use them. We never got access to the pool. They gave us a key fob finally after our 3rd day and it was broken. Host wouldn't reply when I told him that the key fob was cracked and broken, so it didn't work to open the pool gate. There were no wash cloths or hand towels. The slider didn't lock at all. It had a metal bar to put in it, that wouldn't stay in place. Downstairs toilet leaked all over the floor. When we arrived there was a 2" cockroach guarding the bathrrom. Kitchen didn't have any sauce pan or decent utensils for cooking. The one spatula was half burned off. One side of the toaster doesn't work. It says sleeps eight but only has two bowls and a few plates. Host wouldn't reply to help with issues. Worst stay I've had ever!"
