We had an epic day. Oct. 10th we sat at Slough Creek and watched 15 wolves and a grizzly bear. Later we saw a big bull moose beded down. Drove a little farther and scoped up 5 mountain goats, 5 wolves and 2 more grizzlies. EPIC DAY!!

Yellowstone National Park is a magical place. Please don't try to see it all in a day or two. It takes at least 3-4 days to see the major sights.

Yellowstone is a beautiful, unique national park. We were disappointed at the low number of animal's we saw roaming in the park. So plan to enjoy the landscape and hope for a sighting as well.

The signage could improve but we were there right after they opened the roads from snow, therefore some could have been plowed over or still covered in snow.

I'm sure this has been said before but in this age of technology, I find it very strange that The park doesn't have any Wi-Fi. Even the hotel lobby didn't have any Wi-Fi. This is very unusual.
"We really loved everything about this stay! We ended up paying a little more to stay in the cabins, and don't regret it one bit.
The cabins were recently updated, but still have that rustic charm of craftsman era bungalows. Toilet and shower were in amazing condition, the beds were comfy, and it had all the amenities needed for a night or a week!
The staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgable about the park. It's about an hour away from Old Faithful with no traffic, and about 15 minutes from Gardiner, Montana.
The best part: seeing the prairie dogs outside the cabin in the morning playing in the sprinklers! "

"The staff at Ridgeline were very friendly and helpful. This hotel offers great value and a wonderful experience. They provide thoughtful amenities like binoculars for spotting wildlife, refillable Yellowstone water bottles, and s’mores kits. My kids especially loved the pool, hot tub, and air hockey table."
"I have always wanted to stay at Old Faithful Inn. The Inn was rustic but had lots of amenities. I really enjoyed sitting on the balcony eating ice cream and watching Old Faithful erupt. It truly is the crown jewel of National Park hotels "
"We arrived to check in and all systems were down, but the hotel staff made arrangements and work through the issues to give us a room right away. The staff was friendly and accommodating , property was clean and centrally located for our Yellowstone itinerary. The hotel has a dining facility walking distance but the food is not the greatest. Not sure if its manage by the hotel; if so they need to hired a new chef. Other than that this hotel was excellent. "
"The breakfast buffet was excellent. Bacon, eggs, biscuits, fruit, pastries, bagels, juice, cereal coffee. We loved it. Had room at end of halland was easy going in and out"
