Yellowstone River Motel

2.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (186)
"I selected this property for access to Yellowstone, proximity to the river, and it is
pet friendly
. The best part was access to the park, the rest was undesirable. The carpet was stained and likely from a different century, the beds were in poor condition and extremely uncomfortable. I could feel the springs in the mattress. The river was close but not worth the other discomforts. My reservation was for a renovated room and there was not one available. I would not recommend this property."

Grizzly Lodge

2.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (160)
"The setting is spectacular. The facilities are rustic. The cabin was clean, but not super secure: A grizzly could easily swat the door or window open. The toilet was separated from the bed by only a thin curtain. My cabin was so close to regular rooms that I should have saved a few dollars and simply got a room. Check-in went smoothly and the man made sure I knew how to turn on the baseboard heat. My
dog
was welcome, for an additional fee, and there was plenty of room to walk him."

Headwaters Lodge & Cabins at Flagg Ranch

3.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (1023)
"The location is amazing! Right between Yellowstone and Grand Teton National
Parks
makes it a great place to stay. We stayed in the hotel-like rooms with 4 rooms per cabin. We didn’t notice any noise from the other rooms. It was clean and the beds comfortable. It was a short walk to the river and also a short walk to the ‘lodge’ where there was a decent restaurant, convenience store and gift shop. I think they also offered other services like horse back trips and such but we were only there for...
