"Clean room, very cozy space, but was perfect for our short stay. The location was incredibly convenient and the breakfast in the morning was so nice. We went to the Japanese style buffet. It was a lovely experience. We really enjoyed it, especially because the airport limo (charter bus) takes you right up to the front door. Super helpful for my parent who has accessibility needs. There were also great amenities in the hotel lobby and umbrellas available on rainy days. Would certainly consider staying again!"

"The hotel is situated in a quieter part of Shinjuku which we really liked. The room has all the amenities we need although it’s quite small. Staff service was excellent. Breakfast was frozen food that had to be microwaved, but was tasty especially the soup and Japanese option. There are food options and family marts nearby. From the hotel, we could either take the bus to Shinjuku west station or the subway. Overall happy with our stay and would stay there again. "

"I do not have a single, possible complaint regarding Chinzanso hotel. The room was immaculate, the view was incredible, and the staff were always ready to help. My wife and I were made to feel like royalty. Regarding the location, the hotel is out of the way of the more touristy areas, allowing for peace and quiet. Yet, despite this, you are only a short walk away from the cherry blossoms along Kanda river, which are absolutely breathtaking. I would advise travelers to put some money aside for a taxi from Narita airport, as the hill climb to the hotel must be made from any metro station and is very difficult with luggage. Once settled, I recommend Edogawabashi station over Waseda for getting around the city."

"Would totally recommend it for 1st time travelers to to Tokyo. Very central. Accessible and lots to do via walking or simply taking the train. Rooms are small but not an issue if it’s 2 people."

"I had an excellent stay in this hotel! The room is in smaller side, but not too cramped for a solo traveler. The amenities in the property are great and well-maintained. I particularly enjoyed the public bathhouse, which is a treat after a long day of walking and exploring. Their frontdesk agents were also very helpful and very much professional. I loved their breakfast buffet! The hotel is also close to the Oedo Line, which travels directly to Shinjuku and Shibuya proper (around 5-10 mins ride). It's also surrounded with a bunch of convenience stores and restaurants, which made it easy to grab late night dinner/snacks. I wholeheartedly enjoyed my stay here and would come back in my next visit."

"Great hotel, immaculately clean, very helpful staff. Luggage forwarding service in reception every morning to send your baggage on. You're in the entertainment district so it's busy, a little noisy, but the location is great and there's lots around. Three stops from Shibuya, Shinjuku station will get you anywhere you need to be. Very much recommend if you are looking for a hotel in Shinjuku"

"Room is clean. I love the option to ask for towels, makeup the room, or not touch the room at all. The room is smaller than the average American hotel, but considerably spacier than a Japanese hotel. Facilities were very clean and new. Laundry service is randomly busy. On a weekday at 4 am, there were 8 people trying to use the laundry machines. However, a few days later, there was no one using the laundry from 6 am - 2 pm. I appreciate how one of the laundry machines take card, however, keep in mind that will be the most popular machine. Be prepared to use 100 yen coins only to pay for the others. "
