「Hotel rooms were, perhaps, typical of an older hotel, decorations a bit tired - as were carpets - but adequate. Our first room had a large stain on the bathroom ceiling which the staff identified and arranged our move to a bigger and better room. This really impressed us because it didn't require any complaining from us. Quite how it should be. All in all the staff were excellent and we really enjoyed our stay. We would certainly visit again.」

「We had a comfortable stay at the hotel. The room was spacious and neat. We were very pleased with the hotel on the whole. The only regrettable thing I felt is that the charge for the car park was a little bit expensive and yet cramp.」

「Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Lounge area was lovely and if it had soft music playing would have been even better. This hotel is not for people who have difficulty with slopes or steps as it’s on the top of a hill and a fair walk from anything. The hotel rooms (we had a sea view room) are tired and need painting and mould and mildew spraying in the bathroom. The bed was comfy and the bedding and towels clean and soft. 「Cheap, quiet and clean with helpful staff. Building was once a beautiful gothic victorian spa and has a lots of original features. Sadly the the building and decor have seen better days, but what can be expected at such a lot cost?」
