Excellent overnight stay. Staff were very welcoming, the room was spotless and comfortable. Location wise, it was perfect, close to everything we wanted to see. A really well run hotel with great service and a warm, relaxed vibe. Would happily stay again.

Second time we have stayed at the Clifton hotel both times have been a pleasurable stay we booked a room with a wonderful sea view , the room was clean & tidy with a large walk in shower , parking was a breeze using the hotel car park the staff were friendly & helpful we would definitely recommend this hotel A++++

We booked a small room and thsts exactly whst it was..hence my 'ok' stay .not fault of the hotel but it was small so bit hassly for us. However It was quiet and comfortable and for the price csnt really grumble.

We stayed a few years ago and it has massively improved since then. We tried to ring to book a parking space but struggled to get an answer however there was space when we arrived. It is in a great location. We will definitely go back.

Stayed for 1 night & pre-booked a car parking space (£8) prior to arriving as parking spaces at the hotel are limited. Location was perfect. Staff were really helpful & friendly. Sea view room was spacious & very clean (although the outside of the windows could have been cleaner as they hampered a great view). The bathroom had a lovely walk-in shower. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Our evening meal had to be taken in the bar area rather than the restaurant which was not ideal as the tables were quite low. However we had a pleasant stay and would not hesitate to return.

We had a twin room with sea view. Room was basic but spotlees. No air conditioning but there were 2 fans but this might be an issue on very hot days and nights. Staff were friendly and helpful. We didn’t use the restaurant but the bar was nice enough and spacious. Very convenient for going to a gig at the Open Air Theatre. We would stay again

This hotel needs investment. It is old and tired. The position on the cliff top is amazing with amazing views. The reception staff were friendly and quite efficient. The bedroom was small and old fashioned although clean and the beds were comfortable. We had been to the open air theatre for the evening so this hotel was ideally placed to return to after the concert.

We had a very small room but it had a sea view and we were only using it for after a concert at the open air theatre. It’s brilliantly located for that. The staff were friendly and efficient. I’d stay in this hotel again.

Nice clean room, helpful staff and a convenient location. The only gripe really was I could have used a 2nd pillow as standard and the exterior of the hotel could do with some minor maintenance. Overall, a great value stay in a good location.

The reception staff at this property are amazing. So kind & helpful The only downside to the property is not being able to pay cash in an emergency. I was unfortunate to lose my cards during my stay so found it difficult but the staff were brilliant

A lovely light room with wonderful sea views from every window including the ensuite. There was a loose floorboard but otherwise the room was good. Liked having a pod coffee machine. Only one small lift with a gate which wasn't always closed after people used it. This made it difficult to use the lift and there was quite a queue after the concert.

We had the small twin room very clean , no views as windows were covered and wouldn’t open they were alarmed … and the air con unit was quite noisy it kept going on and off .when customers who had surging switched it on and off . It didn’t spoil the stay for us , but just for information. Staff were excellent location good parking good 10 /15 minute walk down to the front . Bus to south side …
