"Love love love this hotel. Second year in a row staying here. I’ve stayed at a few hotels around the island, but still think Roaders may be the best. As a solo traveler, the room was perfect for me. Good bed, accessible plugs, and maybe the best shower on the island. Overall, great value, great location, and great amenities. But the most of all, an excellent staff. "We spent four nights at the Shangri-La and really enjoyed it. The hotel is centrally located just a few minutes' walk from an MRT station and one of Taipei's better night markets. Our suite was huge and immaculately clean, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The gym was extremely well-equipped. Most importantly, the service we encountered from every staff member was top-notch. Finally, we really appreciated the early check-in (we arrived at 7:00 am and were able to check in right away, with just a small additional fee.)"
