"The breakfast and staff made this hotel get 5 stars. The rooms were clean, but basic. We used it just for a place to sleep and then have breakfast as a base for visiting the Cotswolds. The restaurant, grounds and serivce was exceptional, and made up for the smaller, basic room."

"Lovely room at the bottom of the garden separate to the pub. All very clean and in a charming village close to Bourton on the Water. Great location and decent pub with good food. "

"We stayed for 2nights, I originally booked a cozy room but was upgraded on arrival, the room was beautiful, fresh cookies everyday , tea coffee replenished, the bed so comfortable, the location was perfect for getting around the Cotswolds and at night the hotel looked was stunning loved the water wheel , we ate at the restaurant one night and the food was delicious I can’t fault the hotel at all "

"We loved our stay and wished we spent some more Time here. Very authentic cotswolds. We stayed in a family room two bedrooms great beds and lots of Space. Bathroom was Huge. Staff Super friendly and Breakfast was Brilliant. Highly recommend this hotel"
