"Amazing stay, wonderful staff, exceptional food, lovely room."

"Great staff, friendly and attentive. Amazing food, real ale, extensive wine list. Reminiscent of how hotels used to be before corporate takeovers"

"Great place to stay. Beautiful room and excellent food in the restaurant. Could not fault"

"A great stop over on the way to Cornwall A nice welcome on arrival and we found our booking upgraded to a larger room. A good selection of pies for dinner and fresh pastries and coffee for breakfast. Fresh coffee and cafetière in the room was a nice touch."

"Lovely little gem. Breakfast was a nice touch. Pub on site serves food and drink. Owners nice. BUT you should have a car if you are staying here. Getting a taxi can be difficult as it is away from main town. Definitely recommend staying here."

"A good location for us with plenty of parking. Room was clean, but ours had a very tired bed mattress which really needed replacing. The staff were all very friendly and helpful during our stay and food and drinks were all reasonably priced."

"Couldn't fault our stay."

"Smashing room , staff exceptional , nothing too much trouble - definitely be back !"

"Great stay for 1 night when heading south."

"Good food great chef"

"The staff could not of been more accommodating and friendly. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Thank you for having us. ☺️"

"The Kings Arms is a lovely old pub with wonky beams and floor, but that just adds to the character of the place. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Evening meal was absolutely scrumptious! The only downside is that it's next to the main street running throught the village, but this was remedied by using a good set of ear plugs at bedtime!"
