"The staff we met were all helpfull and changed us to a better room which suited our needs but was suprised to hear no lift available and for 3 months would have been helpfull to know this in advance either in email or on their website for all visitors to know but we had our bags taken up for us and down thankfully the room was clean and huge bed all you needed in the room robes not slippers and drinks pepsi and fridge . very central to all and train station enjoyable stay "

"Would not describe the as a Hotel,no human check in ,room and hotel nothing like the websire, breakfast and bar ,restaurant were an option when we booked but was later ammended Except breakfast still advertised that morning but wasn't available, No public area to sit,no bar open even though they advertised beer garden ,very dull place,we stayed 20 mins then left ,will be contacting hotel for refund "

"The hotel is in a very convenient location close to the city centre and cathedral. It is a historic building but we stayed in the fairly modern extension, which was a nice, spacious room with good facilities for tea and coffee etc. Breakfast was plentiful and you could order from a good range of cooked options including full English. Staff were friendly and helpful."

"Managed free overnight parking opposite. Worked well combined with family visit. Had a quiet en-suite room plus a bathtub. What a treat. Offerred lots choices for breakfast - standard cost for all options. All the staff I met were lovely. Very friendly and it felt more like a family business than merely ‘corporate’."
