「There was a wedding party which I was advised before I arrived. The hotel called me to confirm this which I was happy with. They brought the evening meals to the room which was very enjoyable. I have no issues with this whatsoever. They kept me informed. 」

「Great staff, friendly and attentive. Amazing food, real ale, extensive wine list. Reminiscent of how hotels used to be before corporate takeovers」

「Beautiful location. Ideally situated for the South West Coastal Path. Lovely pub atmosphere with a good restaurant. Local beer. Staff were helpful on site. Parking. Room was cosy but had everything that you needed. Lovely shower.」

「Our room was well maintained and we like staying in unique, historic properties. A bath in the nook in front of the window seemed a little strange. We thought a sofa with a coffee table would be a more relaxing option after a day of sightseeing. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The state of the beer garden is a shame. 「Lovely little gem. Breakfast was a nice touch. Pub on site serves food and drink. Owners nice. BUT you should have a car if you are staying here. Getting a taxi can be difficult as it is away from main town. Definitely recommend staying here.」

「A good location for us with plenty of parking. Room was clean, but ours had a very tired bed mattress which really needed replacing. The staff were all very friendly and helpful during our stay and food and drinks were all reasonably priced.」

「Fantastic location overlooking the hilltop sea views. Last minute overnight booking, with only the rear looking room available (would like to try the sea view rooms next time). Room was immaculately clean with a fan, iron (and board), hairdryer, microwave, toaster, fridge and kettle (also tea, coffee and milk, that you can have refilled if you need more). Staff were absolutely fantastic from the time we checked in to when we left. Bar and food area downstairs (also plenty of outdoor seating). I...

「Great stay for 1 night when heading south.」

「Good food great chef」

「階段がぎしぎしする由緒ありそうなホテル。便利ではないがこのようなところに泊まることが旅行の思い出になる。１階はパブで，ビールを迷っていると試飲させてくれた。」
