「Comfy room, generous towels. Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service. There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. 「was able to park just in front of stable room work is in progress at the property so didnt look its best on the outside,inside was fab we had everything we needed plus extras like fridge ,toaster,microwave plenty of plates mugs dishes good drinks making equipment,single beds were comfy and spotless,tv was a bit confusing but we managed in the end,we had a lot of noise on the 2 nd evening and early morning could have been the workmen🙄 the royal oak pub is extremely welcoming drinks and meals...
