「We stayed at this VRBO in 2022 and enjoyed it so much we had to come back! It is a great location to be near the ocean and take in all the beautiful sights around Mendocino. The Forest Suite is peaceful and relaxing... perfect for getting away from it all for a few days. We would venture out in the mornings to go on hikes or just do some sight seeing, and then come back to the suite to kick back and read a good book. Such a nice vacation! Highly recommended!」

「We were looking for an ideal place to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We found this gem, the pics are nice, but the experience of driving up to the place was something you have to experience to fully understand how breath taking view Dan and Laura have. When you open the door, you get hit with a great view of the ocean and Mendocino town from afar, we loved our stay and plan to return. Thank you both for letting us enjoy your beautiful place. 「We had coffee on the deck watching the waves and storms roll through. Right in the heart of Mendocino, you can walk the entire town from the front door. Really fun to see the place in the opening credits of Murder, She Wrote! Fantastic stay, definitely will be back!」

「If you’re looking for a lovely, clean and well appointed apartment a few minutes from fantastic restaurants and right off the Napa Valley wine trail, look no further. As other guests have mentioned, we were greeted with a beautiful glass of wine which was the perfect way to kick off our anniversary trip. Lesley was amazing- available for any question we had and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and perfect. Awesome to have access to laundry. Bed and comforter were amazing....

「The property was very nice for a 3 night stay, quiet and peaceful. Just down the hill there were some great restaurants where we ate. The room was clean and the little touches, such as snacks and great coffee were much appreciated. We didn't have much contact with the owners, but they were very friendly and welcoming. I would stay again.」

「My husband and I love staying here (our 2nd time). It's a beautifully decorated, clean and well-stocked property. It's in the best location, right in downtown Mendocino, with easy access to all the shops. The best part is the large, wraparound deck with views of the headlands and ocean. We spent most of our time on the deck. It's also easy to hike around and even go down to a small, but quiet beach. The owner is very accommodating and wants the guests to have fun. We'll definitely be back again,...

「Location is the highlight of this Gualala studio. The stairs faded quickly into the spectacular views. This is a special retreat from the ordinary. Miren is a fantastic host, her knowledge of the area, attention to detail & warm hospitality all a highlight of our stay. We spent 3 nights & explored nearby, but the Anchor Bay beach below this studio makes this location a place of pure contentment, no need to roam. We hope to return.」

「The hosts were very receptive to a few extra needs we had. It was a cold rainy weekend, and we needed some ‘cuddle’ blankets and they delivered! (Totally unnecessary items)! Location is just perfect for all our excursions. The place is clean and comfortable and nicely decorated with fully stocked kitchen items. In apt washer/dryer was just what we needed. Wonderful weekend!」

「What a fabulous property! It was a terrific experience from beginning to end. The property manager is excellent and very responsive. The place itself is spectacular. You couldn’t ask for a better location. Also, it’s extremely clean, well furnished and comfortable. We attended a music festival and what a pleasure it was to take the short drive back to this amazing place instead of a much longer drive to a hotel. I have stayed at many properties and this one is by far my favorite.」

「What a gem! We loved our stay at Mendo Bungalow. It’s charming, quiet, super clean & comfortable. The managers go the extra mile to make guests comfortable. Chairs on the lawn with a fantastic view, s’mores kits, water bottles in the room. Every thoughtful detail—so nice to settle in for the night in a place like this. Also very close to Mendocino—4 minute drive to restaurants, stores, coastal walks, etc. 」
