「Great place with loads of history and character. Nice host and staff. Lovely room but mind your head on the low beams. Left too early for breakfast - host prepared a nice breakfast hamper for us.」

「A fantastic stay. Rooms just perfect. Lovely touch with the coffee machine and the fridge in the pantry with fresh milk and additional bottled water. Breakfast was excellent and far far beyond anything that you would expect at a pub type of stay. Location was quiet and a great base to explore Kent and the coastline. Staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Full marks for the Duke William’👏👏 」
