「レイクの観光前に泊まりました。建物は値段相応ですが、スタッフの対応が高級ホテルのような感じで満足しました。 郊外の村にあるホテルで、周辺の綺麗な川沿いの散歩をお勧めします。ローカル駅、趣ある橋、昔のお城のような邸宅が穴場でした。」

「ｴｼﾞﾝﾊﾞﾗからバーミンガムへの移動途中に１泊しました。M6から近く、またとても静かな周辺でもあり、1泊だけでは勿体無い。是非ここに泊まり、湖水地方やボーダー付近を観光されてはいかがでしょうか。 オーナーご夫妻はとても素敵な方で、ディナーの予約を忘れたにもかかわらず、あり合わせだよと言いながら、ステーキ、サラダを用意してくださいました。 どこのレストランでいただくよりも美味しく、お部屋は広くバスルームはメンテナンスが行き届いています。 お部屋からはお庭の大きな池がが見え、まるでモネの絵の様でした。 この宿に泊まるためだけに、必ず再訪したいと思います。」

「This is a lovely hotel, well located for stunning views of the landscape. Our room was well decorated, and had a lovely bathroom with a walk in shower. The walls were pretty thin, we could hear people in the neighbouring rooms around us. The bed was really comfortable, excellent Wi-fi and a smart TV on the wall was perfect. We had an evening meal which was served in a cozy room with an open fire, I can still taste the lovely Borders Beef. Breakfast was similarly great, and meant that overall we...

「It’s the perfect stay to stop just off the M6 when driving from Scotland to England. It’s a beautifully decorated pub, with lovely staff and excellent breakfast and dinner. This time our ferry was cancelled from Mull and so we had to change the booking at the last moment. They were understanding and there was no problem rolling over the booking until we could get off the island. We will be forever loyal to this wonderful stop just south of Penrith. 」
