"Needed a place to stay prior to going kayaking on the South Branch of the Potomac. Grilled out steaks for dinner, microwaved breakfast, and was only 30 minutes from the river at Romney. Nice little town, but don’t expect too much. Most things close at 5p and are only open on select days. I would recommend doing your homework if that is what you are looking for."

"We enjoyed the property. We found it very interesting and historic.Plenty of space for our group everyone had their own room. It’s a good starting point to see downtown Gettysburg and to go through the battlefield. We even had a dog in our group enjoyed playing in the yard and being able to wander the house. My family enjoys seeing new places and the adventures it brings, and this house did not disappoint. "
