"We wanted a quiet getaway and that’s exactly what we got. We like Hedgesville’s proximity to Berkeley Springs, Harpers Ferry and Winchester, VA. Hedgesville itself doesn’t have a lot going on - a few independent restaurants & shops, a Martin’s grocery store. If you’re looking for Walmart or chain restaurants, there are plenty in nearby Martinsburg. This visit for us, though, was all about staying in and enjoying the woods around us. "Nice cabin. Could’ve been cleaner outside. Host was nice and surrounding area, beautiful. "

"The main problem was with the rental company. They had the incorrect password listed in the notebook. When we called them, they kept saying it was correct and saying they’d get back with us. Over several hours they never re-contacted us. We’d have to constantly contact them. We were able to figure out the password which was different than the one they had listed."

"The condo can accommodate numerous guests while still allowing enough space, with it 3 separate levels, for privacy, ample room for quiet time. It was bright and airy with a comfortable homey atmosphere. Parking was easy and close. The outside balcony offered a nice view of the lake. "
