「The tiny house is exactly as described. Its small, clean, cozy and comfortable. The location right on the river is fantastic. Being able to have a fire right by the water each night was such a plus. In better weather would be a great put in for canoeing, kataking. Very close many historic sights, unique shops, and outdoor activities. The hosts are very thoughtful, kind and responsive. We will be staying again!!」

「The staff were very helpful and welcoming. I accidentally left behind a shirt in the room and texted the hotel who got the shirt to the front desk ready for me when I stopped on my way home. So nice about it and so very friendly. 」

「My fiancé and I had a wonderful time staying here. Our room was nice and clean and super comfortable. The kitchen area was amazing as well. Only thing I wish was there was a stove or oven in our room. We will definitely book again !!!」

「Stayed at a historic double room. The room was not big (TV is small too), but OK since it was expected just as advertized. Would have loved if there's even a tiny table though. Shower was outside and shared, but the room had a bath tub which was good. Wifi worked smoothly and saved us (no Spring coverage around the area). Breakfast was excellent -- so delicious and nice atomosphere. We loved this excellent historic inn.」

「Well appointed and maintained property with a pleasant and efficient desk person in nice area right off highway with a couple minor housekeeping issues: very slow sink and apple core in trash can.」

「We have stayed at Silver Tree and it’s absolutely wonderful! However on this visit, we booked with Expedia. We were not aware that the room we booked was 1 of 2 rooms not owned by Silver Tree. It was another 3rd party Vacation rental. So, beware, that if you book with Expedia, the hotel will not service or have anything to do with these rooms. It is all done through Taylor Made vacation’s. They only give you 1 key, no parking pass, and if you need any additional supplies for the room...

「We had a nice one night stay, the hotel was Clean, with nice staff, good buffet breakfast included. Short drive to Gettysburg battle field and Gettysurg college」

「It was a bit of a pain to check in as I had to call multiple times to get someone to the desk. The outside of the building is a bit dated, but the rooms were quite nice. Older/loud a/c, but it kept the room comfortable 」

「The only thing I could negatively critique is the carpets as we’re a bit elderly with slight musty odor. Almost like there had been smokers in the room at some earlier time. The bathroom fan was quite noisy. It needs replacing too. But otherwise,the bed was comfortable, tv worked ,bathroom was clean with everything necessary and the room was quiet. The location was convenient.」
