「The Howland House was situated in the most perfect spot in the Catskill Mountains! Very clean property, outstanding staff who never say no and go out of their way to help you.... The only thing I didn't care for, but not really a big deal, was that we had to share the 2 bathrooms down the hall with two other rooms. While the bathrooms were nice, they just weren't in the room we were staying in due to being sold out of the rooms with. The restaurant, Oliver's, was quite lovely and attached to the...

「My friend and I enjoyed staying at the bunk house a lot. We didn't spend a lot of time in town or around the property but it was very charming! Everyone was really friendly and helpful with any question we had. We will definitely be interested in coming back to stay again.」

「We thought that the setting was very nice but we had some issues. Not all of the blinds closed. The soap/body wash/shampoo dispensers were faulty and we had to remove the dispensers in order to use. Couldn’t regulate the heat and were either cold or hot. There was a family with children above us and there was constant thumping from above. The construction of the place did not provide for adequate noise mitigation. I think if we had stayed one night,or even two, it might not have been as...

「Location in downtown Woodstock was great- parking was easy. Loved the rooftop patio - great place to enjoy a coffee. Rooms were very nice and large.」

「For a lodge charging $500 per night for a standard king room, we expected a peaceful, relaxing experience in the Catskills. Unfortunately, our stay was the opposite. The biggest issue was the complete lack of soundproofing. Our bed was positioned directly against the wall behind the main entrance door, so every time someone entered the lodge, it sounded as if they were coming into our room. We could hear conversations, every door slamming, and virtually all the noise from the common areas. On...

「We really enjoyed our stay at the Inn. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. After a long day of hiking it was great to have a restaurant and bar right on site. The menu had a lot of delicious looking options and our meal was very satisfying, The staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent stay.」

「I originally was not going to leave a review. After all, you get what you pay for, and the Super 8 never has expressed to being a 5-star hotel. Yet, several things happened that had nothing to do whether the bathroom was marbled or the sheets x-zillion count: 1) The 'light breakfast' was a joke. They shouldn't even mention it. It was some packets of instant oatmeal plus unlabeled coffee and hot water. Not even cold water or anything to drink for kids 2) their guest info sheet was wrong and no...

「The breakfast could have been better.」

「The special game room in the back yard that is screened is excellent 👌.」
