"This 50+ year hotel has several pros and cons. Pros - free parking, it is located across the street from a large shopping mall, and within walking distance to many restaurants. Cons - old style rooms, scuffed run down furnishings, stained and torn carpeting, and closed off outside stairways."

"I had to call for clean towels on the evening of the second day. I had the sign out because we had a late start that day. Gone by 9:00 am. Maybe housekeeping came through early and say the sign. Why can't they mark the room and come back after they are done with the other rooms. It should not take any extra time since they did not have to spend time on the first pass."

"The room was clean but the shower leaked all over the floor, and the refrigerator didn’t have a freezer! We needed to keep something’s frozen so we went to my son’s room and his freezer didn’t work (fridge had water in the bottom. So plan C, went to get ice from the ice machine which was out of order….. The woman at the front desk was very helpful and went and got us some ice!! Also only one elevator was working. Seems like for the price, the hotel was pretty badly maintained!! The staff was great!! (Parking was $24 a night as well)"

"Housekeeping didn't show up for five days. Only after I made a fuss when my family joined me. The toilet handle had to be held down for the entire looooong duration of every single flush. It never clogged, though - thankfully. The fitness center (cave) had one working treadmill. The breakfast was free, but not slightly good. My room door made a horrendous and loud screeching sound every time it was opened (no other rooms available). At the bar, if your drink doesn't come ready in a bottle, just don't ask. Worst Old Fashioned ever. The place seemed very understaffed for the amount of guests, but the staff was helpful or at least tried to be. Not the staff's fault, but the cherry on top was the night after my family joined me at the hotel, someone came pounding on our door at 3am confused about whether we were in his room or not. SPOILER: We weren't. We all got a very poor night's sleep during what was a stressful trip to begin with."

"The front desk was so nice and helpful. They let us check in early because the concert we came to town for was canceled. Everything was clean and nice. I wasn’t a fan of the breakfast it tasted a bit over cooked but it wasn’t horrible."
