「We arrived at Hawk house and were greeted by a laminated sign that explained how to check in. We called the number, but there was no response. We called the bell (several times) and eventually a young lady came to check us in. She showed us to our room and was helpful. The room was a twin room (we had booked a double). 「Good location for strolling around Langport with its cafes,independent shops , gardens and river walks . The library is very close with an outdoors area . We had a room in the courtyard , good in the heatwave . Sometimes had to park further away in town car park ..still free ,though in autumn 2026 may have to pay . Staff helpful .」

「Lovely pub, very spacious with nice lounge and outside area. Food really nice and rooms were perfect. Friendly staff and decent breakfast. Oh and nice beer and good value for money.」

「Good quiet location on the edge of Bridgwater looking out onto fields. Busy pub mid-week in April when we were there with people sitting out enjoying the weather. Good dinner and breakfast.」

Bed very comfortable & the small double room I had was perfect just for me. Food in the restaurant was delicious & there was a good choice. Breakfast plentiful, well presented & hearty. 「Well located with free parking so didn't need to use the car at all during our stay. Everything we wanted to do and see was within walking distance. The place needs refurbishment throughout the stairways and in particular, the bathroom of room 10」
