"A very well maintained hotel at a perfect location right on Mekong. Lingering over their delicious breakfast right on the river bank while viewing boat traffic on Mekong was one of the highlights of our time in Laos.
The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, too."

"The hotel is newly opened and in Grand condition. It has been renovated and added on to the UNESCO standards for that Historical District.
The entire staff are wonderful, from the cleaners to the GM. They are also so helpful and personable!"

"We spent 5 nights in Luang Prabang and the Phonepraseuth Guesthouse was perfect for our visit. Mr. Kim suggested places to visit and went above and beyond even driving us to the airport. Rooms are a great value, comfortable, and are as pictured. If you're staying in Luang Prabang, this is a great place to stay."

"Wonderful guesthouse, with a large room and bath. I loved the traditional design and old wood. The location is amazing. The staff is welcoming and helpful. Guests need a few additions to make it perfect: an iron and ironing board, some tea, maybe a couple of bananas and crackers for jet-lagged travelers, these kinds of things :)"

"Very nice place to stay, near the morning market and night market. Plenty of food to eat around the villa. The staff is really nice and very good at communicating. The place is clean and well taken care of. There’s a hostel right next to villa which gets loud sometimes but other than that it’s really good place to stay "

"El lugar está bien y el desayuno es muy bueno, no contestan mucho si necesitas transporte del aeropuerto, hablan poco inglés entonces te ofrecen lo básico.
Igual recomiendo que se queden a dormir, es tranquilo. "

"Great stay! Lovely staff. Highly enjoyed. Loved breakfast. Great free shuttle transport to town and back on demand during certain hours. Very fancy looking! Loved. Will be back, I'm sure."
"I had a lovely stay here as a solo traveller for 3 nights. The room was comfortable and clean and the location was close to the riverfront and a walkable distance from many restaurants and shops. The staff were all really friendly, hospitable and helpful. I also got my laundry done at the hotel (it was $2 USD for 1 kg of load) and the staff were really efficient with that. The alms giving ceremony also happens just outside the hotel every morning around 6am which was a unique cultural tradition to witness. "
"The property is beautiful and in right front of fabulous temple, and right next to brilliant French bakery. Monk offering service happens right in front of hotel every morning. Little far from night/ morning market, but well enough walking distance, instead it’s in a quiet location. Because of heritage building, the stairs to second floor was not easy, with higher pitch uneven steps, for our aging knees. But doorman helped carry our suitcase to upstairs and to downstairs.
Downsides are shower wasn’t hot enough, and toilet seat was broken and detached, and sink plug was not properly attached, tiny ants in bathroom etc.. However, still this location and setting with reasonable price still worth staying there. Enjoyed smell of incense from temple, and blooming plumerias."
