If you want to stay in the heart of Luang Prabang, Indigo House couldn’t be a better choice! The night market begins at the foot of the hotel and is perfectly situated next to both the shopping and food stalls of the night market. Rooms facing the market are noisy until 10 PM when the market shuts down and then it is extremely peaceful. The staff is amazing and the food available in the cafe is incredible. The rooms are somewhat dated but very comfortable and clean.

Gem of a hotel

Really, really good. The location is just across from the night market (my room had a balcony overlooking it), and close to everything. The hotel is very well kept up -- no problems anywhere. The food is great.

This was a very nice hotel. Older rustic style facility but well cared for. Their food was excellent. Every meal I ate there was perfect. The staff is A It’s located right in the middle of a bustling community with a huge night market right across the street. Plenty of sightseeing nearby too

fantastic location.

Hotel is a little tired but is in a great location near to night markets. We had a balcony overlooking main street where lots of people are about and surprisingly once in our room there wasn't much noise. Spacious room. Good breakfast.

Was a fantastic stay. The room and hotel met all our expectations but beware the market sound stage directly opposite- thankfully that ended by 10pm … not ideal but if you want 24 hrs quiet then do not stay . For us we worked around it ok. One great highlight was the breakfast- wow excellent taste and presentation- thank you we enjoyed our 3 nights .

Good Spot Right in the middle of town

Overlooks the night market, but that ends at 21:00. Tallest building in town with a rooftop bar. Cafe bakery downstairs is excellent. There is an ATM on sight, a beer wholesaler and a booking shop next door. Generally a good experience. The appearance is a little faded but it is still good. Food was very good. TV’s had smart boxes so you can watch YouTube, Netflicks etc. My only real niggle is the lack of hot water. To be fair it is roasting hot and warm water is fine but don’t expect a pipping hot shower. As a bonus all the transfer buses kick you outside. It is the wrong end of town for riverside, but then again no one bothers to try and sell you a sunset cruise. Not cheap, but LP is not cheap!

Safe and Fun place

All the Staff was AMAZING! I had 3 rooms and it was perfect for my family. It was right in front of the night market and we felt safe!
